I have selected multiple nodes by drawing a rectangle around them, then added more nodes by holding SHIFT and drawing a rectangle around the additional nodes. Since the selection tool only draws rectangles and my glyphs have curves, there are often extraneous nodes selected that I do not want to be selected. Is there a way to deselect specific nodes while leaving others selected?
An example of what I am trying to do is something I can do in Photoshop. I can select multiple areas of a picture with CTRL+SHIFT. I can de-select specific areas by using CTRL+ALT which still leaves the rest of the area selected. Can It be done in Type 3.2?

No, there is currently no way to do this, but I add this as a feature request.
