I am making a font to be used as a fingering chart for playing pennywhistle. The glyphs are made up of 6 vertical circles. Each one is either filled, or empty. The font looks great in microsoft word, but when I print, all of the circles come out filled. I tried printing on best quality, and it came out the same. What am I doing wrong?

I have had a look at your font. The 'empty' shapes consist of two concentric circles - which is correct, but the circles need to be in opposite directions. (eg outer circle clockwise, innner circle counter-clockwise). Select a point on the inner circle, select select contour from the point menu, then select reverse from the contour menu. The grey arrow between the first and second points indicates the contour direction (see appendix II).
