How to map database fields to text & magstripe on cards

Hi,
I suspect I am missing something obvious here, but I am unable to map a csv export to fields on the card and the magstripe. I've followed through what I thought was right in the help files and have experimented on a good many cards. I can view the database on screen so I know I have mapped it ok, I am just unclear how to map these to printable fields

Can you point me in the right direction as to how to get this to work please?

My csv export is in the form :

Number,Firstname,Lastname,GroupName,Balance,Discount,CashOnly,MembershipAnniversary,Email,Phone,Mobile,StreetAddress,Suburb,City,PostCode,Country,Birthday,Assoc1Firstname,Assoc1Lastname,Assoc2Firstname,Assoc2Lastname,Assoc3Firstname,Assoc3Lastname

To map a column in your data to a printable field:
- right click on the field (eg text field on the canvas or a magstripe field in the bottom right of the screen)
- select properties
- enter the name of the database column into the box labelled 'database'

The printable field will now contain the contents of the data column.
