I can't seem to find any way of resizing a glyph in type light 3.2 Ideally I need to be able to downsize a glyph for combination with another glyph. letters within a symbol for a special software application. Any help would be appreciated.
I could use inkscape and an online svg-ttf converter but that would only yield an estimated size. I need to modify the size precisely within type light to get the proportions of the different glyphs just right.
Any ideas would be greatly apreciated.

This can be done with the full (and demo) versions - but not Type light (the freeware version). In the full version you can scale exactly, and can also apply the scaling using an action script over a range of glyphs, or the whole font.

I have Type 3.2 professional. How do I resize a glyph? I've messed with the program quite a bit and can't find a way to do it. I went to help menu and there is nothing listed for resizing. Thanks, ron

Select the stretch tool (looks like a small square with an arrow pointing to a larger square) in the toolbox, then left-click and drag in the edit window to change the size of the whole glyph (or selected points), the spot that you clicked will be the origin point for the scaling. Pressing shift at the same time will retain proportions. You can also right-click instead, then you will be prompted to enter exact values to enlarge or reduce the glyph (or selected points).
Please also see pages 9 (to identify stretch tool) and 12 (rotation, transformation and stroke tools) in the manual.
If you resize a glyph, then you will probably also want to increase or decrease the character spacing of that glyph by dragging the green vertical line to the left or right.
