Please support type-in functionality in the mapping box which would enable me to quickly find the glyph I want.
Optionally, please think of implementing a user scrapbook where the most used glyphs could be dropped and accessed later easily.

There is a bookmarking function, which you might find useful (page 13, Type light manual). Also the find glyph button allows you to enter a character, glyph ID or unicode value and will bring up the glyph in the edit window (but not the mapping window as you are suggesting). This function may be extended to the mapping window in a future update.

Thanks for the info. No wonder I overlooked that function, as I am an icon-button hater, and I haven't bumped into its menu item equivalent. (A ctrl-F shortcut would be nice for that - I would like to act quickly from the keyboard). At any rate, the function does not seem to be working. I could not get the dialog to locate the glyph (using the ASCII character mode), even though I had opened an existing font with full character set. Is there any voo-doo to get this working?
