A new update for Type 3.2 has been released (Window 3.2.030)
The main additions included in this update are:
User definable horizontal and vertical guidelines (select guidelines from the view menu) can now be set, with optional snap-to function. Note that the guidelines set for a particular font are saved with its .gfs file (save option not available in Type light).
As well as images, outlines contained in the clipboard can now be placed in the background layer for manual tracing (select background/insert clipboard from the view menu) (not available in Type light).
Pressing ctrl (alt on a Mac) when adjusting control points will restrict their movement in a horizontal or vertical direction.
You can now select glyphs into the edit window by double clicking on them from the glyph preview panel (text preview mode) or the full-font preview window (all glyphs mode).
This update is now also available for OS X (3.2.018x) - 22 September 2014.
